OVAL FACE

An oval face has slightly wider cheekbones and a gentle narrowing at the forehead and jaw. 

We recommend: All styles should suit – but try and aim for frames slightly on the wide side.

Try to avoid: Narrow frames that draw attention to a narrow eye line.

ROUND FACE

A round face has softer angles with slightly wider cheekbones and equally wide forehead and jaw. 

We recommend: Rectangular shaped frames, Frames with colour or decoration on the temples.

Try to avoid: Small or round shapes, and oversized frames which will make your face look rounder.

HEART FACE

A heart face is widest at the forehead and gradually narrows through to the jaw. 

We recommend: Bottom-heavy frames that add width to lower face, Rimless frames that are light in color.

Try to avoid: Styles which are wider at the top; these will reflect the face shape rather than balance it.

SQUARE FACE

A square face has more angular lines with equally wide cheekbones, forehead and jaw. 

We recommend: Round and oval style frames with sides set at the top of the frame.

Try to avoid: Thin, angular and square styles, Low-set temples or colour accents on the bottom of the frames that draw emphasis to the chin.

DIAMOND FACE

A diamond face is widest at the jaw and gradually narrows through to the forehead.

We recommend: Look for top-heavy frames, such as semi-rimless frames or frames with detailing on the brow line, Upswept styles like cat eye that emphasize the cheek bones.

Try to avoid: Narrow frames that draw attention to narrow eye line.
